Painted over 2,100 works in just ten years and sold exactly one during his lifetime. Famously cut off part of his own ear in a crisis and gave it to a woman at a brothel. Lived on coffee and bread, wrote his brother 600+ letters, shot himself at 37 — Starry Night now hangs in MoMA.
