The Canon of Medicine
Persian polymath (980-1037), known in Arabic as Ibn Sina.
Allegedly memorized the Quran by 10 and mastered medicine by 16, when he was already curing the local sultan and getting paid in library access. His Canon of Medicine was THE standard medical textbook in European universities for ~600 years. Died at 57 from over-medicating his own colic.
